Bixby Land Company leased roughly 21,000 square feet to Verimatrix at The Oberlin, a redesigned, three-building office campus in San Diego’s Sorrento Mesa submarket. The specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for digital TV services will occupy space in a two-story building at 5897 Oberlin Dr.
The campus underwent a complete redesign in 2016 to appeal to technology companies and progressive-minded firms. Bixby added a series of rollup doors, allowing tenants to circulate freely between interior and exterior spaces.
Two Bixby Retreat outdoor living rooms and amenities areas were added. Other touches include eco-friendly landscaping, upgraded lobbies and elevators, new roofs and mechanical equipment, and an outside building for bicycle storage.
Hughes Marino’s David Marino represented the tenant. CBRE’s Mike Hoeck and Ryan Egli represented the landlord.
